What is the medical oxygen network?
AMP’s medical oxygen network is safety infrastructure based on the oxygen provider qualification of JMRA, the Japan Marine Recreation Association. It is intended to strengthen initial on-site readiness across diving, snorkeling, SUP, kayaking, swimming, boat supervision, lifesaving, and other waterside activities. Network participation does not replace emergency services or professional medical assessment.
What is Maru-Yu?
Maru-Yu is a public designation made by the Okinawa Prefectural Public Safety Commission for marine-leisure providers whose safety measures have been reviewed under that program. It can help travelers identify a “Maru-Yu certified operator” in this specific official context, but it does not guarantee safety.
